I brought in Reishi mushroom from traditional Chinese herbalism hailed for centuries for its immune system nourishing, anti inflammatory, and nervous system nourishing properties. I then added Shatavari and Holy Basil from the Ayervedic world of herbalism. Each known as a rasayana (lengthening of life spans). Shatavari is a nutritive herb bringing moisture to dryness and adrenal nourishment… a little bit of a libido booster too! Holy Basil is a remarkable herb bringing properties helpful to the digestive system, nervous system, emotional wellbeing, and much much more. I then wanted to assure that key systems to the body are tended to so I brought in Hawthorn and Rose to tend to the heart and Gotu Kola and ginger to bring forth extra circulatory health. Good blood flow is crucial to a healthy body. A balanced nervous and adrenal system are key to all systems being able to properly work so on top of the holy basil already included, I invited the original adaptogen, Eleuthero root. Rosemary for remembrance and rosehips are a delicious and gentle anti inflammatory to assure comfort in this wonderful body you’ve been gifted.
