Health notes: Yerba mate is highly regarded from centuries of enjoyment in South America. Its tradition notes that it benefits include deep nourishment to the body with easily absorbed vitamins and minerals, weight loss support, focus and energy enhancing properties, blood sugar regulation support, and gentle cleansing to the system.
We didn’t stop here… we added in the antioxidant rich Sumac berry to support battling oxidative damage and blood sugar support to further balance metabolism.
We also invited the gently soothing lemon verbena to bring forth even more weight loss support through its noted appetite soothing properties and for its nervous system nourishment to pair well with the energizing Mate for the perfectly balanced pick me up.
ALL ORGANIC INGREDIENTS:
Yerba Maté, Sumac Berries + Lemon Verbena
{ Moderately Caffeinated }
Iced Tea Brewing Directions per quart:
Steep 2 tea bags (or 3.5 Tb loose tea blend in a large steeping bag) in 1/2 quart of 175º water for 10-15 minutes. Cover while steeping. Remove tea bag. Add 1.5 Tb sugar (or to taste). Stir. Add 1/2 quart cold water. Stir and enjoy! Refrigerate to save up to 4 days. Garnish ideas: Fresh lemon wedges
Iced Tea brewing Directions per 16oz glass:
Steep 1 tea bag or 1.5 Tb loose tea blend in approximately 4oz 175º water for 10-15 minutes. Cover while steeping. Remove tea leaves, add ½Tb sugar (to taste), stir, fill with 8oz cold water and pour over 16oz glass filled with ice. Should fill a 16oz glass, if not, add more water and enjoy! Can garnish with lemon or mint sprigs.
