PINE: Friend, Medicine and Food

Episode 2

In this episode, we are both so excited about Pine that we brought our own info to share with one another.  This magnificent tree is one of the best friends you can find in a forest.  It can provide year round food, medicine and shelter for us and many other forest family members.

Leah shares about Pine’s medicinal properties and how to prepare those.  One fascinating way to receive Pine’s immune boosting benefits is to simply stand near one! That and many other amazing herbal wellness gems are waiting for you… even one of Leah’s favorite herbal recipes, a Pine Oxymel.

Joel will help you feel more confident in Pine tree identification regarding “poisonous” pine information you may need to know.  He will also talk about the wide range of edibility from this Giving Tree… believe it or not…. Every single part of this tree can be eaten at some point in the year.
