THYME To Kick That Cough!

Episode 3

In this episode I, Leah, am bringing herbalism home with the focus on the common garden companion, Thyme.  Join me as I talk not only about this plant’s medicinal properties, but also how to actually incorporate this into your life.

When do you work with thyme? How do you work with it? Where do you plant thyme so it can help your garden?

I’ll also break down a cough for you.  All coughs are not created equally and each type of cough needs a different herb for best results.  Specifically, I talk about 3 basic coughs, the dry, wet and irritated cough. Thyme is a wonderful teacher in this lesson.

I’ll then dig into Thyme in the garden and who it likes to be planted by and who thrives because it is near.  If anyone out there is tired of picking off those big ol’ tomato hornworms, you may want to give this a listen.

This episode is then rounded out with herbal medicine making tips and a recipe to make sure that you have what you need to bring this amazing natural neighbor, Thyme, into your home with confidence and excitement.  It’s one thing to listen and learn a bit, but it’s another to feel ready to bring it into your life; let’s see if we can do that today.

All while sipping on tea and having a dang good time.
