Teaching Herbalism through Herbal Craft:

I have searched for years to find a blend that really helps the body and sinuses balance when dealing with seasonal challenges. True “in the moment” support. The typical issues experienced are a drippy nose, runny and itchy eyes and irritation. I looked to those in nature for the answers.

Ambrosia or….Ragweed, yes, I said ragweed. Is one of the best herbs I know to help dry the drips and help the body to lower histamine response. I have taught about this herb for years and it only makes sense that an herb responsible for so many folks allergies can know a thing or two about calming them too. I gather it before it blooms so no pollen is present at the time of harvest.

Fresh stinging nettle is well known for its nourishing properties. With this deep health support as well as its properties encouraging the body to better balance histamine production, Nettle was an obvious choice. Its very important that stinging nettle be fresh to offer this effect and ours certainly was ;) For those looking to make this tincture yourself, be sure to gather nettle leaf before it goes to seed.

Ground Ivy is another plant with purpose offering great insight for your body in how to calm the excess mucous and helps to turn off the faucet! I am always amazed at just how helpful it can be in this case.

Goldenrod is possibly one the most amazing herbs that I have been taught in regards to seasonal allergies. Not only does its extremely high antioxidant level work with the body to have a more appropriate immune response, but it also has been shown to potentially stabilize mast cells all the while its tightening and toning boggy mucous membranes and drying the drips. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

I’m quite happy with this blend and hope that you are too!
