WUYI ROCK OOLONG ORGANIC
We just received this oolong from the Wuyi reserve in northern Fujian Province!
The Wuyi region is famous for its rock faces and boulders scattered throughout the reserve which offer the tea plants growing here a unique mix of shade and humidity (from the many small trickles of water streaming from the boulders).
This traditional Wuyi Oolong is smooth and complex with an enchanting honey nectar like flavor and mouthfeel. Floral notes are wrapped around slightly roasted earthy tones creating a wonderful oolong tea experience.
Wonderful hot or iced.
Origin: Wuyi, Fujian, China
Preparation: Use a healthy Tb per 16 oz. of 185º water. I prefer this tea at around 3 minutes for the first go round, but would add a minute or so for the next few steeps. Or for a different feel, try steeping with 212º water for 1-2 minutes.
Moderately Caffeinated
