Let Mother Nature support your little one’s immune system when they’re feeling under the weather.

Purpose: When your little one is sick, there is nothing worse than feeling powerless in helping them feel all better. Though we can’t promise anything, I can tell you that this is the brew that I make my son when he is ill. It’s filled with child “safe” antiviral, antibacterial, immune supportive and respiratory system supportive herbs. You can make this and know that you are giving them something to support their little bodies in battling this bug.

Pick Me: To have on hand for when your child is sick. This is a blend created to be drank during the duration of an illness for immune support and symptom soothing.

Extra Tricks: It can be drank warm with a little honey (best), but it can also be drank cold or made into popsicles. It can be mixed with juice, and I’ve even made it into jello! (replace the water with this tea). Whatever it takes to help your little one get these supportive herbs into their system though it naturally tastes really good.

Works well for ages 6 months-10+ years

Organic Ingredients: Echinacea Angustifolia root, Peppermint leaf, Elderflower, Elderberry, Yarrow aerials, Calendula flower, Lemonbalm leaf, Mullein leaf, Honeysuckle blossom. Caffeine free

Understanding the Ingredients: I created this for my son, Woods, and have seen awesome results every time I call upon it. I began giving it to him at 6 months of age and still offer this same brew to him at 7 years old. I chose each herb for its safety for children as well as efficacy. Echinacea brings its long hailed benefits as a powerful immune tonic for children. I then brought in Elderflower and Elderberry for their appropriateness for children as antivirals and immune supportive tonics. Calendula helps support their little lymphatic systems and soothe irritated tissues. Yarrow helps to support sinus tissues and maintain proper temperature while Lemonbalm soothes and brings an extra antiviral boost. Mullein is my favorite respiratory tonic herb for young ones so it had to be included and all topped with the aromatic, delicious and supportive Peppermint.  Lastly, I added a dash of the amazingly antibacterial and antiviral honeysuckle flower to the mix to really seal the deal.

Not your ordinary teabag: Our hand-made teabags are large since they are a full portion to provide you with the intended benefit and desired support. Each one may be re-steeped several times throughout the day. The brewed tea may also be saved in the fridge over night and enjoyed chilled the following day. They are each handcrafted in perfect measurement within a microplastic free teabag and hand stapled with a stainless steel staple. This is slow craft herbalism with care.

{10 pack is 2.1oz and 3 pack is .63oz }

Loose leaf or bagged are both created in very small batches in our woodland teahouse from thoughtfully sourced ingredients and professionally formulated by Leah, owner and clinical herbalist.

HOW TO BREW:

Bagged:  Use 1 tea bag per 16 oz of 185 ºF water. Begin drinking when temperature is comfortable but never remove tea bag. Can dilute further if under 4 and save extra in the fridge up to 2 days.

Loose Leaf: Use 1 Tb per 16 oz of 185 ºF water and steep a minimum of 20 minutes. Can dilute further if under 4 and save extra in the fridge up to 2 days.

The longer these herbs steep the better and more potent the herbal infusion will be. Add sweetness if you prefer.  May be re-steeped several times. Enjoy!

Earth first packaging: Our packaging is intentionally minimal and environmentally conscious.  The kraft bags holding our teas are 100% recycled and backyard compostable.  Our teabags are compostable, as well as the herbs inside, once staple is removed.  They love to return to the earth.  We are constantly seeking ways we can do better and lessen our impact.
