BLACK MAGIC {limited release}

How could this black tea and herbal blend be so roasty yet so light, so smooth but so bold all at the same time? Must be magic.

Pick me if: I created this blend for myself when I stopped drinking coffee in the mornings due to particular health needs. I find this to be just the right amount of coffee-like flavor while still being its own unique brew.

Flavor notes: Deep, rich, roasty, lightly smoked

All Organic Ingredients: In-house organic (lightly smoky) black tea blend, Roasted Dandelion root, Cardamom seed, Cacao, and Dandyblend

Understanding the Ingredients: I opted for a lightly smoked black tea to bring the extra roastiness and unique flavor for this brew.  I then wanted the depth and richness of dandelion root.  Dandelion root has long been hailed as a liver tonic but do take note that it takes a longer steeping time to open up and extract the root.  This may begin to happen on a 3rd or 4th steep.  However, Dandyblend is a freeze dried water extract of the root so it is more readily available in the first steep.  I didnt want to stop there so Cardamom bought a certain sparkle of magic to this blend while Cacao brought the heart opening richness.  Complex and so satisfying.  

Preparation: Use 1 Tb per 12-16 oz. of purified 200º water. Adjust amount of tea to your desired tea strength.Steep 5 minutes. Add milk and sweetener of choice to taste. Lately, I've been adding Black Strap Molasses for extra minerals and an adventurous flavor.
