A bladder tissue supportive blend specifically formulated as a soothing and anti inflammatory aid.
Purpose: .Urinary system care for the inflamed and irritable bladder. I created this blend for my own needs; I have interstitial cystitis and have since childhood. This condition is what got me into herbalism, and this blend of herbs is my go-to. It brings me pain relief as well as anti-inflammatory and demulcent benefits. I decided that others out there may benefit from it as well. Here’s to you my friend.
Pick me if: Your bladder could use some soothing. IYKYK
Flavor profile: earthy, herbaceous, smooth
Organic Ingredients: Plantain leaf, Marshmallow root, Parsley root Caffeine free
Understanding the Ingredients: I created this blend over a decade ago out of need for myself. Interstitial cystitis is a condition that I have suffered with since I was a child, and it is also what got me into herbalism. I have found incredible relief, comfort and tending from herbs and that is saying a lot for this difficult to deal with condition. I made this herbal tea to not only help with the pain but also to tend to the irritated and ulcerated tissues. I didn't just want to mask the pain, I wanted to bring actual relief to my urinary system. I included Plantain leaf because of its incredible power to not only offer anti inflammatory benefit but also tighten and tone ulcerated and boggy tissues while somehow offering a soothing demulcent property. It's been a best friend of mine for years. I then added parsley root which is a urinary analgesic taught to me many years ago by an Amish herbalist who called upon it for almost any bladder pain condition. This herb truly has brought some amazing pain relief quite quickly to me when I needed it most. Lastly, I added in Marshmallow root that is not only soothing and relieving but it is also anti inflammatory to those highly irritated tissues bringing deeper benefit. I personally drink this blend at least a few times per week and daily if I’m experiencing a more sensitive time. I can’t express how much relief and peace of mind it has brought me.
Not your ordinary teabag: Our hand-made teabags are large since they are a full portion to provide you with the intended benefit and desired support. Each one may be re-steeped several times throughout the day. The brewed tea may also be saved in the fridge over night and enjoyed chilled the following day. They are each handcrafted in perfect measurement within a microplastic free teabag and hand stapled with a stainless steel staple. This is slow craft herbalism with care.
{10 pack is 2.1oz and 3 pack is .63oz }
Loose leaf or bagged are both created in very small batches in our woodland teahouse from thoughtfully sourced ingredients and professionally formulated by Leah, owner and clinical herbalist.
HOW TO BREW:
Bagged: Use 1 tea bag per 16 oz of 175 ºF water. Begin drinking when temperature is comfortable but never remove tea bag.
Loose Leaf: Use 1.5 Tb per 16 oz of 175 ºF water and steep a minimum of 25 minutes.
The longer these herbs steep the better and more potent the herbal infusion will be. Add sweetness if you prefer. May be re-steeped several times. Enjoy!
Earth first packaging: Our packaging is intentionally minimal and environmentally conscious. The kraft bags holding our teas are 100% recycled and backyard compostable. Our teabags are compostable, as well as the herbs inside, once the staple is removed. They love to return to the earth. We are constantly seeking ways we can do better and lessen our impact.
I am by no means claiming that this product diagnoses, heals, treats or anything the medical condition interstitial cystitis. I am not allowed to claim that without this herbal tea going through drug trials which it of course has not. it is not a drug and is not intended to be. This is an herbal product I created for my own specific needs and found great comfort in. I wanted to share it with those that may as well.
