Purpose: Urinary tract and bladder tonic I've worked on perfecting for over 15 years. This body system is what brought me to herbalism and the herbs in this blend are what offered incredible support...enough for me to dedicate my life to plant wisdom keeping! This blend is particularly supportive with antibacterial herbs as well as some tissue soothing properties as well. Best to drink 1-2 bags per day until package is gone if you hope to flush unwanted bacteria from this system.
Pick me if: Your urinary tract or bladder need some support clearing out the unwanted
Flavor profile: Earthy, leaves, hints of floral
Organic Ingredients: Pipsissewa leaf, Uva Ursi leaf, Marshmallow root, Oregon Grape root, Parsley root, Chamomile flower, Lavender bud Caffeine free
Understanding the Ingredients: This blend is one of my most loved because how it offered me relief and support when I needed it most. We can’t always manage pathogenic bacteria in our urinary systems through diet and lifestyle, and herbs can offer powerful support in this area. I am not saying to replace modern medicine with this blend, simply offering an herbal ally when you may need it. The herbs I put into this blend all come with very particular roles. PIPSISSEWA is included because of its amazing ability to battle and flush out unwanted bacteria in the urinary tract while being gentle on the system as well. UVA URSI was invited due to its power in this manner as well but I kept it in smaller proportions than many other blends on the market because I know it can be irritating to some folks GI tracts. MARSHMALLOW ROOT comes to aid the Uva Ursi (which requires an alkalizer to work properly) as well as to soothe irritated and inflamed tissues. OREGON GRAPE ROOT brings its own antibacterial and liver tonic properties to this cleansing brew. PARSLEY ROOT is one of the most soothing herbs I know to the urinary system while CHAMOMILE and LAVENDER offer delicious, soothing, and loving energy to this complete blend.
Not your ordinary teabag: Our hand-made teabags are large since they are a full portion to provide you with the intended benefit and desired support. Each one may be re-steeped several times throughout the day. The brewed tea may also be saved in the fridge over night and enjoyed chilled the following day. They are each handcrafted in perfect measurement within a microplastic free teabag and hand stapled with a stainless steel staple. This is slow craft herbalism with care.
{10 pack is 2.1oz and 3 pack is .63oz }
Loose leaf or bagged are both created in very small batches in our woodland teahouse from thoughtfully sourced ingredients and professionally formulated by Leah, owner and clinical herbalist.
HOW TO BREW:
Bagged: Use 1 tea bag per 16 oz of 190ºF water. Begin drinking when temperature is comfortable but never remove tea bag. Add more hot water once the cup is finished for a second or third infusion for full benefit.
Loose Leaf: Use 2 Tb per 16 oz of 190ºF water and steep a minimum of 15 minutes. Ideally pouring off bits of the tea as the rest continues to steep. I really enjoy placing loose leaf in a French press, pouring off the tea to drink, and recovering with more water for a full day infusion of full benefit.
The longer these herbs steep the better and more potent the herbal infusion will be. Add sweetness if you prefer.
Earth first packaging: Our packaging is intentionally minimal and environmentally conscious. The kraft bags holding our teas are 100% recycled and backyard compostable. Our teabags are compostable, as well as the herbs inside, once the staple is removed. They love to return to the earth. We are constantly seeking ways we can do better and lessen our impact.
