Purpose: To nourish your heart with the love that it deserves. A beautiful blend of cardiovascular supportive herbs noted for physical heart health as well as herbs noted for spiritual heart wellbeing. Be it a heavy heart, grief, or physical concerns, HeartSong can offer incredible and well-studied support.

Pick me if: You have a need for additional heart supportive care regarding cardiovascular concerns or if you are going through a time that weighs heavy on the heart and you could use a little help processing and lifting the burden.

Flavor profile: herbaceous, floral, mint, light citrus, love

Organic Ingredients: Hawthorn leaf + berry, Rose petals, Damiana leaf, Motherwort leaf, Peppermint leaf, Hibiscus calyx, Cardamom seed, Rose hips, Cacao shell

Understanding the Ingredients: When your heart is heavy, it's essential to tend and nourish such a sacred space.  Some herbs have quite an affinity for the heart and they came together like a beautiful song in this blend. Hawthorn Leaf and Berry were invited in as foundational heart-heath botanicals, highly regarded for centuries.  Next, Motherwort was a must-include with its ability to soothe an anxious heart and calm the excess.  A heart also needs lifting when carrying too much so Damiana came forth as just the uplifting herb to do so.  Rose is long noted as a spiritual heart aid while Hibiscus is noted to care for the physical heart.  Cacao has long been celebrated ceremonially as deep heart care and the mint brings forth a fresh breath and movement upward.  If your heartspace is calling for deep care, this may just be the blend for you as well.  Love to you my friend.

Not your ordinary teabag: Our hand-made teabags are large since they are a full portion to provide you with the intended benefit and desired support. Each one may be re-steeped several times throughout the day. The brewed tea may also be saved in the fridge over night and enjoyed chilled the following day. They are each handcrafted in perfect measurement within a microplastic free teabag and hand stapled with a stainless steel staple. This is slow craft herbalism with care.

{10 pack is 2.1oz and 3 pack is .63oz }

Loose leaf or bagged are both created in very small batches in our woodland teahouse from thoughtfully sourced ingredients and professionally formulated by Leah, owner and clinical herbalist.

HOW TO BREW:

Bagged:  Use 1 tea bag per 12-16 oz of 180ºF water. Begin drinking when temperature is comfortable but never remove tea bag. Add more hot water once the cup is finished for a second or third infusion for full benefit.

Loose Leaf:  Use 1.5 Tb per 12-16 oz of 180ºF water and steep a minimum of 10 minutes.  Ideally pouring off bits of the tea as the rest continues to steep.  I really enjoy placing loose leaf in a French press, pouring off the tea to drink, and recovering with more water for a full day infusion of full benefit.

The longer these herbs steep the better and more potent the herbal infusion will be. Add sweetness if you prefer.

Earth first packaging: Our packaging is intentionally minimal and environmentally conscious.  The kraft bags holding our teas are 100% recycled and backyard compostable.  Our teabags are compostable, as well as the herbs inside, once the staple is removed.  They love to return to the earth.  We are constantly seeking ways we can do better and lessen our impact.
