To have hiked the Appalachian trail is to know a little about Trail Magic. Not only are the gifts of the land filled with enchantment, but folks also leave little gifts for one another on the trail... stranger to stranger acts of kindness that are nothing short of magical. These little gifts and acts of kindness are known as "Trail Magic".
With this, we give a nod to the kindness, generosity and care that Appalachia is known for. This blend was created in response to the extreme flooding and loss in Appalachia September 2024 and the need for neighbor to neighbor support.
I created this blend to send to those in need, taking into consideration their health needs after such trauma. The need for deep nourishment as well as support for the nervous system, heart , immune system, adrenals, and a much needed sense of comfort. It is also a perfect tea for those going backpacking, camping, or any activity needing easy to access nourishment and deep restoration.
100% of the profit of the blend is donated to rotating Appalachian based non profits.

Teaching Herbalism Through Tea Craft
The focus on this blend is to care for someone in a time of need, whether enduring the aftermaths of a disaster or walking a trail for hundred of miles and needing some support along the way. I wanted to not only send them the best blend I could possibly make, but also create something that would care deeply for anyone who purchased it and their funds went on to care for those in need.
To make this blend nothing short of magical, I knew my first herbal companion had to be Stinging Nettle. The most nourishing and dependable herb that I know. Secondly I brought in Holy Basil for its gifts of nervous system, adrenal and immune system support. It is somehow able to lift those who need lightness and calm those who need the comforting hand. Immune support is always important in times of stress and Elderberry comes with gentle yet powerful care in this area. Hawthorn and Rose were invited in for their unsurpassable ability to care for the heart. A balanced nervous and adrenal system are key to all systems being able to properly work so on top of the holy basil already included, I invited the original adaptogen, Eleuthero root. Rosemary for a little magic while cinnamon and ginger bring some much needed comfort. Nourish yourself and don’t take a moment of this beautiful life for granted- it is pure magic.

Our Packaging
Our packaging is intentionally minimal and environmentally conscious. The kraft bags holding our teas are recycled and compostable. The inner lining is plant based and the outer layer is FDA approved recycled natural Kraft. Tin tie closures need to be removed prior to sending it to compost heap.
Our unbleached tea bags are sealed with a food grade staple and no chemical sealant. Each is compostable, as well as the herbs inside, once staple is removed. They love to return to the earth.
We are constantly seeking ways we can do better and lessen our impact.
