Yunnan Gold Tips Organic

This is one of our bolder black tea offerings from the birthplace of tea, Yunnan, China.

Strong, rich, earthy (almost Pu-er like), with obvious tobacco notes.

Plenty smooth enough to enjoy on its own, but can easily hold its character even when milk is added. If you enjoy our Daybreak black tea but are looking for a single origin tea that’s more earthy than floral I would definite give this one a try.  Happy brewing (:

Origin: Yunnan, China

Preparation: Use 1 full Tb per 16 oz of purified 195º-205º water. I prefer 3 minutes on the first steep and an additional minute for the next couple brews. If you’ll be adding any sort of milk to this tea the initial steep can be longer, around 4-5 minutes, as milk covers the bitterness of the tannins.
